American Independence?
The announcement yesterday from the Biden administration to stop the import of Russian oil should have happen months ago. But we should not have been doing business with them at all.
I remember a time when I was younger, if I saw any product that was made in another country it was a rare thing and nowadays its rare to see an American product.
We have lost our independence on goods. We have come to dependent on other countries and just like American companies are closing off goods and services to Russia the same could happen here. If a country is in disagreement with US foreign policies they could easily eliminate the export of their goods to America. And the commerce battle lines will be laid out.
The United States historically has been known for independence and freedom, we are no longer that country. The next time you buy any product take note where it was made, then come to the realization it might not be available the next time. Now is the time to buy American and take in consideration the materials used to make that product.
Do those materials come from another country?
Buy 100% American made products, I realize this is a difficult task because of the convenience of just buying what you need and not doing the research. This is the only way for us to regain our independence.

The Oil Agenda
The gas price continues to go up, and there is no end to when it will stop.
Once upon a time, we were completely independent in America, with no dependency on anything from another country. But, somewhere, we lost that independence. Well, we are paying for that loss now.
The Biden administration refuses to open our oil reserves because it goes against their climate change/green energy agenda. They believe if the price of oil continues to go up, people will eventually stop buying gas because it will be too expensive. And here is the real reason, if America stops buying gas, the government can expand the electric car industry and force people to rid themselves of the oil industry.
We have enough oil in our country to be completely independent, and we should stop the insanity of paying for oil from Russia and other Middle Eastern countries. I like driving gas-powered vehicles, and as long as we have those oil reserves, we need to continue to drill.

The Third
The 3rd of July, the day before the United States greatest celebration of our country.
I was watching the news this morning and a reporter was talking about John Adams and a letter her wrote to his wife on the 3rd of July.
Here is an excerpt from that letter:
I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated, by succeeding Generations, as the great anniversary Festival. It ought to be commemorated, as the Day of Deliverance by solemn Acts of Devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with Pomp and Parade, with4 Shews, Games, Sports, Guns, Bells, Bonfires and Illuminations from one End of this Continent to the other from this Time forward forever more.
You will think me transported with Enthusiasm but I am not.—I am well aware of the Toil and Blood and Treasure, that it will cost Us to maintain this Declaration, and support and defend these States.—Yet through all the Gloom I can see the Rays of ravishing Light and Glory. I can see that the End is more than worth all the Means. And that Posterity will triumph in that Days Transaction, even altho We should rue it, which I trust in God We shall not.
These words of wisdom apply today just as they did in 1776.

The Disguised Politicians
The definition of disguised - to furnish with a false appearance or an assumed identity.
The
two parts of this definition are applied to what is going on in our nation
right now, the false appearance and assumed identity. In this blog entry it
is the false representation.
The
movement to fundamentally change the United States under the disguise of
what appears to be the normal process of change, either politically,
economically, racially, or geographically.
First,
politically, some members of Congress and Senate give the appearance of being
the great Americans who echo is the voices of the people they represent
and that might be the case in certain areas of the country. But those
constituents who follow the disguised politician are basically going along
with their representatives who are telling them what is right for them and the
country. This is dangerous, because if people are just following along with
whatever their representatives say it takes away one of our rights and that is
they (the politicians) do what we say and not them telling us. They are our
voice and represent us and not them representing their agenda.
Second,
economically, in the words of James Otis "Taxation without
Representation is tyranny". Again, we go back to representation
of the people. How can one person say we need to tax the rich? Who are the
rich? Where is the line between the rich and everybody else? These
questions are not to be decided by one person. I believe when such
legislation comes up, we should vote, plain and simple. I realize a
referendum to vote on a matter of taxes must go thru a
lengthy process, but we would have that voice. Another point is if we
heavily tax the rich and most of them are business owners they will pass
that expense on the consumer, so in essence, the non-rich will end up paying
the tax on products and services of the rich.
Third, racially,
race has always been a divider not just in this country but all over the world.
How does race divide us? Why are we being told at a national level of large
groups of people being classified as racist? Again, this goes back to the
disguise of our representatives because people will just go along with
whatever they say and believe it. Prejudice is the most common form of racism,
when a person judges an entire group on based on their race. I believe the
United States is a representation of Americans, not a particular color,
race, sex, or any other category. We are Americans - We are One Nation
under God, and as God sees us, it is not by the color of our skin. But we have
politicians saying we are a racist country. This is not true. But that is
not to say they do not exist. We must fight back against racism because we are
Americans.
Fourth, geographically,
these are the States and counties across the United States. This is the real
heart of the matter. We see every day certain States and counties are either a
blue (progressive) or a red (conservative). The Governors and the county
representatives fall into the same category as those in Washington
D.C. All of this is about the people being represented by elected officials.
Now, depending on which party you fall into, progressive or conservatives or
independents (the undecided) they will elect who they feel best represents
them. The regions of our nation should be the voice to the President and that
person again represents us.
My
bottom line is until we can all come to somewhat agree on issues which will
never be the case. The disguised politicians should stop saying most of the
American people agree with whatever legislation, laws etc... because most of
the conservatives do not agree with the socialist progressives. If you have
been reading any part of this blog, you will know I am conservative. The
narrative that is in most of the media today is wrong and does not represent
how I think. In the past, the political parties would usually
come to a compromise on the issues but now it is all one sided. And that side
is disguised as an American representation of the people and what they are
hiding is the transformation of this country to socialism.
Rise
Conservatives!!
Let
your voice be heard and known to others who are following the
socialist's agenda blindly. Speak the truth, question them on their
beliefs, educate them on the real facts. Debate is a good practice, and always
be respectful.
Exercise your right to the freedom of speech.

What Happen?
This is a big question to those who have been following what has happen in the the last year. Some will say great advancements and better days to come, others will say it is the darkest of times.
Well, I would like to believe the first, but I'm afraid we are in dark times. America is clearly divided it is the worst I've seen in my lifetime, there has always been the political divide and its been here since the birth of our nation. Those who are on the side of these are the best of times are the problem. I'm not normally, on the side of criticism in my posts here and I really try to remain positive. But, what has happened?
It all started last year, with the BLM protest, and the movement to destroy historical monuments and statues and then the defund the police protest. Historically, protest have always happen in the United States its our Constitutional right to free speech and assembly. But when those protest are against the foundation and principles of this country it is on the borderline of treason. Now that might seem like an extreme statement, when those protest turn into the dismantling and take over of a city police station (Portland, Oregon) this is the agenda of the progressives. How can this happen without repercussions? The City of Portland was under siege. But yet, the media told the public it was peaceful. If this had happen 20 or 30 years ago, the National Guard would have been brought in to stop it.
Today the news reported the murder rate in Portland is up 800% our cities are falling apart. But yet there are people saying these are the best of times.
We need to speak out because if we don't before you know it - it will all be gone.
I'm am a Patriot, I love my country and I will speak out against those who are trying to destroy the United States.

Businesses Need Us
Businesses in America today needs our support.
The business of America is in great need right now. We have an obligation as citizens to do what we can to buy products, use services, and to pay people to work for us. And to take this a step further, when buying products - to buy American.
This might seems to be an obvious solution to bring back our economy but when the process of buying an item begins it creates a snowball effect in the supply chain.
The product has to be made and those materials needed have to be produced which employees even more people and once those materials are created they have to be transported. This begins another process, trucks, trains, air transports, and ships at sea, all of this employees people. And when people are employed they in turn go out and buy products and the cycle of producing a single item starts again.
Buy American

Un-Patriot
The month of July
The patriotic month for the United States.
But it has not seemed so patriotic with groups of people trying to dismantle our history. The history of the United States is what we have, good or bad its ours. And with our history we learn how to make life better for us now and in the future.
This time of protest is the first for me in my life to experience the un-patriot. America has within always had differences in opinions but the disrespect I have seen to law, various institutions, history, and the American Flag has been troubling. I realize that not all of America feels this way. The silent majority is quite and observing. I believe the reserved citizens will not take this anymore. Peaceful protest will begin, and the introverted majority will come out and unite against this disrespect for our country.

Really
At this point I would have thought the pandemic would have been almost over. I will say that more people are out and about, but there are still some restrictions on the gatherings and social distancing around the US.
The pandemic has been hard and to make matters worst we now have protest which I will not get into on this post. We are the United States of America. During any crisis we have come together and united without the political or any of the other views that have separated us in the past. We have always stood united. I pray we will come out of this crisis a better country.

United
United We Stand
As the country re-starts the economy. Now everybody has an opinion about the pandemic whether it's who to blame or this or that could have been accomplished differently, it does not matter. We need to unite just as we did in the first few weeks when everybody was at home and the streets were empty. We seemed to be united during that time because we in someway suffered together.
The unemployment rate is the highest in years. We can all unite putting all political differences aside. Everyone needs to safely go out and buy goods and services in their local economy. This will jumpstart our cities bring the unemployment down and pumping dollars back for the rebuilding of America.

The Usual Business
Next, How will this affect the economy of the United States and World?
First allow me to give a disclaimer I am not an economist 😄
this is just my opinion like everything else in this blog.
The economy has clearly tanked unemployment is on the rise. Businesses are closing. As grim as this sounds, I believe we will rebound. How? one thing that will happen is people will come out of their home to spend money. Six weeks of not going to restaurants, shopping in the local mall, and the list could go on....
I have seen some of the local favorite restaurants in a semi-open carry out only. Once the stay at home order is lifted these places will be pack with people spending money. The result, employees back to work, the vendor's delivering supplies making sales, the farmers who sell to the vendors back to work in the fields. And the heartbeat of the economy starts to beating again. We will survives this, it might take awhile but we will be stronger and thriving again.

The Flag and the NFL
Here's the deal. I hope that one day I will watch NFL football again, but they will have to redeem themselves. If there is one thing the represents this country its the American Flag, don't disrespect it.
