Everyday Diplomacy

Diplomacy is a powerful word, but it is used even more powerfully when it is in action. It is generally used in the context of nations in a debate about a policy to be negotiated, but this is at a higher level than the average person.

As conversations go for the day-to-day interactions of the general public, it's necessary to apply this action to everything we do.  Some would say, "I'm going to say exactly what is on my mind," without considering the consequences of those words. This literally applies to not only words but all thoughts and actions. It's about control of yourself.  If you think about this for a moment, if everyone said precisely what was on their mind, there would be considerable disagreement. Once this action is engaged, one could be in an unending conversation cycle. But diplomacy is a more controlled way of speech. It's kinder, considerate, negotiable, and should always be honest.

The word justification is a powerful word. It is used everyday but not in the form of using the word in conversation or text. We use it in our thoughts and actions.  Think about the decisions you make daily and how many of them involve your justification for your actions.  Take another look at the definition, can you understand how your justification is applied?

Also, look at the second definition - the act, process, or state of being justified by God. Do we base our decisions on what we think or how God's justification is applied?

Think about it.

Three Words

Faith - Hope - Love

Three words we can live by everyday. Sometimes its hard and sometimes it's easy but all three everyday. These virtues can be applied to the things we do - at home - at work - or to anyone we meet. But more importantly God wants us to live by theses words. He wants us to live our lives while our short time here by the commandments he has given us. But if we are having difficulty then maybe theses three words are a place to start - Faith Hope Love.

Putting them in practice in our lives doesn't even have to start with interaction with those around us. Faith, by praying everyday. Hope, by living what God commands us so we will one day come in union with Him in heaven. And Love the greatest commandment - to love God with all your heart.

Three words to live by.....

Words

Grand Words That Can Change the World

Ambition, Confidence, Courage, Dedication, Devotion, Honor, Knowledge, Trust

These words are powerful words and they can change the world.

How many aspects in life can these words apply?

God
Family/Friends
Ourselves
Country
Job
Occupations – doctors, police etc...
Products that you buy – food, medicine
Transportation – Planes, Trains, and Automobiles
Utilities – water, electricity

I believe that we sometimes do not realize how much of our lives depend on trust in the known and unknown. Yet, people believe in things that have no evidence of existence and others do not believe in things that have a history or evidence of existence.
