___________________________________________________________________________________
The word justification is a powerful word. It is used everyday but not in the form of using the word in conversation or text. We use it in our thoughts and actions. Think about the decisions you make daily and how many of them involve your justification for your actions. Take another look at the definition, can you understand how your justification is applied?
Also, look at the second definition - the act, process, or state of being justified by God. Do we base our decisions on what we think or how God's justification is applied?
Think about it.

Information Overload
The information we receive everyday day from all various platforms, like the internet searches we might use for the occasional questions to social media and on those rare times of an actual paper newspaper.
At one time many years ago I believe the public would take whatever the TV news or the morning paper said as the absolute truth, mainly because we had no other way of verifying the information. But today we have an endless flow of information were we can do our own fact checking.
Because we have a vast source of information at our finger tips we could literally check info all day long and probably never come to a conclusion on what is true or false.
How to we work through this information overload?
We have to consider our own general education, for instance, if a news story has been release about quantum physics and if you have not had any formal education in that subject then you are probably not going to have a clue to what the story is about. Although you can do an internet search but by the time you even have a general concept of the subject it will be old news.
Next, we have to consider what is reasonable and this would have to be from our life experiences, education, and deductive reasoning which would work with the basic information and work up to a more specific conclusion.
All of this is necessary, because there is a lot of misinformation out and its leading people in the wrong direction.

Reason
Reason, this word is a major thought process we use it every day sometimes not even realizing it. It is the justification in our judgement and it its that process we are born with and it varies from person to person but will all have it.
We can build upon it with a lifetime of experiences. Reason helps us make those decisions that are sometimes difficult. Our justice system is base on a reasonable doubt. Again, we see how important reason is in our daily life. Does this make sense? a question we often ask ourselves in the course of any day. Reason is our process of what is right or wrong.

2021 The New Year or a continuation of 2020
I have tried to be positive about the upcoming year but it has been very difficult. The recent events of the breech of the US Capitol and continued BLM protest, it doesn't seem to be hopeful. The thought of a brighter future seems a little dim now.
My thought on this is somehow we need to find a common ground. Politically its not going to happen anytime soon.
So, what will bring us together?
I wish a had an answer, but whatever it might be it needs to happen soon, because everyday that goes by our country will be divided even more.

Their Way
How can someone just read or hear an opinion in the media and accept as the absolute truth?
Opinions have to be evaluated by yourself - is it right or wrong? - good or evil?
